We had so much fun in our visit to the Twycross zoo, but let me tell you that if you love monkeys this is your ideal zoo, there are so many species of primates in here, and there were a few babies too!

The first thing you see when you enter is a huge adventure indoors play area for the kids, it looks so fun that even I would have love to play in it hahaha, there was also a big suvenier shop with super cute stuff, even the toilets where fun! with ants working in the mirror, so cool.

My little ones favourites where the elephants, and they came all together mom, dad and the baby! so cute.

There where Chilean flamingos of course, they are so georgeous, with their coral pink feathers, the beautiful colour is caused by the alpha and beta carotenoid pigments that are present in their food, I wish my hair could take that lovely colour just by eating prawn.. hahaha

I couldn't take any good pics of mom and baby monkeys or mom and baby gorilla, just because it wasn't possible at the time.. but they were super adorable.
The zoo is always an exciting place for the kids, there is so much to see in here, over 100 species, we saw penguins, girafes, kangaroos aswell and there was also a pet corner with cute domestic animals that you can actually adopt.

The butterfly forest was my personal favourite corner, it is so beautiful, with gorgeous butterflies fluttering around all over the place, of course the forest is very humid and hot, because that is the perfect habitat for them.

The main atraction of the zoo are the primates which are very interesting but there is so much more to see, there are over 500 animals in the zoo and so many fun things to do, there is also a Wet & Wild water play area as well as an outdoor playarea just in case the kids want something more active.
I totally recommend visiting if you are looking for a place for the whole family to enjoy and have a fun and educational day out.
I hope you enjoy this post, until my next one, bye :)
note: I did not receive anything in exchange for this post, I am just sharing my honest opinion based on my experience at the zoo.
