Hey guys, today I thought I would share my tuna burgers recipe with you, I like to make them when I am in a hurry but I want something that my kids enjoy and provides them the proteins that they require.

You will need:

tuna chunks, your favourite brand is fine (2 small cans or 150gr app)

2 eggs

3/4 cup of rolled oats

salt if you want just a little bit

seeds if you want

coconut or olive oil for the frying pan (just 1 spoon)

you can also use your favourite seasonings

So, first you want to drain the water from the tuna can, place the tuna chunks in a bowl with the eggs, oats, seeds and seasonings (optional), chives is a good option. Mix it all together and if you feel that the misture is too wet to make balls then leave it rest for about 5 minutes so that the oats can soak up some of the liquid, then make balls of the size that you like.

Heat some coconut oil or olive oil in a saucepan at middle heat and when the oil has heatten up, place the tuna burgers carefully (because they are fragile at this point) and press them gently a little bit, wait until they get a golden color in the base and then turn, it should take about 4 min per side.

That's it! Now you can serve them with your favourite salad or potatoes.. whatever you want, here's a suggestion.

I hope this recipe works for you and that you enjoy them.

Until my next blog post! bye :)
